From the friendly animals and the loveliest dog, Reacher, to the lush gardens and private forest walk and the mornings in peaceful bliss. I cannot recommend this place enough. I plan to be a repeat visitor here as leaving proves to be harder than you think. Julie and her team have done a wonderful job of making these rooms little homes away from home.

We stayed there for 2 nights,since then 4 other B&b/hotels right up to Umhlanga, and as far as attention to detail and overall experience goes none of them compare. The walk in the forest, the decor on the rooms, personal touch in the room. Jules, Dirk and team you rock, keep it up. 10/10

☆☆☆☆☆ "This is a dream" - These were the words muttered by my father-in-law throughout the entire weekend at Woodlands as he stared out at the forest below from the deck of the cottage. An absolutely stunning location for a peaceful family get-together."

☆☆☆☆☆ "HEAVEN ON EARTH" - I took my two teenagers for a getaway. The property was modern, clean and well equipped. The best part is the trail down to the river which starts right infront of our room. I did this every day. The solitude and peace was amazing.
